Nicky Hind studied composition at Glasgow University with Graham Hair, and computer music at Stanford University with John Chowning, where he completed doctoral studies in 1997. His compositions have been recorded and performed by musicians in Scotland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, and the United States, and have been broadcast in numerous countries. He lives in northern California, where he also works with game audio technologies for Sony Interactive Entertainment.
